The University of California, Santa Cruz (UC Santa Cruz or UCSC) is a public research university in Santa Cruz, California, situated on the picturesque Monterey Bay. As one of the University of California system's ten campuses, UC Santa Cruz occupies 2,001 acres of lush, coastal land overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
