Between 1894 and 1903, its creation unfolded, culminating in a momentous inauguration on November 6, 1903, commemorating the birth of Sultan II. Abdülhamid.

Abdülhamid's vision, an epochal narrative echoing through ages.From 1933 to 1983, the establishment functioned as Haydarpaşa High School, and in 1983, it became part of Marmara University as an educational complex housing the Medical Faculty. Later, the Külliyesi was assigned to the Health Sciences University as Mekteb-i Tıbbiyye-i Şâhâne in accordance with the Law No. 6639, effective from March 27, 2015. Today, it offers faculties, a Health Services Vocational School, and institutes. Additionally, the Medical Faculties and Vocational Schools admit military students for the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
