Hitit University, founded on March 17, 2006, in Çorum, is steadily progressing towards its goal as a dynamic institution integrated with its region, industry, and historical heritage, boasting an experienced staff and competent faculty that has earned national and international recognition.

Despite being a young university, Hitit University has taken noteworthy strides in collaboration with industrial establishments, making significant contributions to the regional economy. It stands out as the sole university specializing in Machinery and Manufacturing Technologies in Turkey, participating in the "Higher Education Regional Development-Focused Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project" conducted by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

The university successfully conducts its educational activities with over 18,000 students enrolled in 11 faculties, 1 institute, 1 school of higher education, and 7 vocational schools. Moreover, Hitit University hosts more than 1,200 international students from 60 countries, ranging from Europe to North Africa, Central Asian Republics to the Middle East, the Balkans, and the Caucasus.

Additionally, the university has 20 application and research centers where specialized faculty members conduct in-depth research in various fields. It is also equipped with an Education and Research Hospital.
