Pe. Anderson Antonio Pedroso, S.J., joined the university in 2020 as the Vice-Rector General of PUC-Rio. He was also appointed President of the Council for Identity and Mission (CIM) and currently serves as a professor in the Department of Arts & Design. He holds degrees in Theology and Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Contemporary Art History and Philosophical Aesthetics from Sorbonne University. Additionally, he has a master's degree in Aesthetics Philosophy from the same university. His educational background includes philosophy, theology, and aesthetics studies from various prestigious institutions in Brazil, Italy, and France.
