Michael T. Williams, MBA, is an experienced IT professional currently serving as an IT Lecturer at the University of New York in Prague. Throughout his career, Michael Williams has held various roles in the IT field, including software support specialist, IT consultant for small businesses, and IT trainer for certification courses such as Cisco, CompTIA, and Microsoft. He has also provided corporate training for Microsoft Office products. Michael's interests extend to innovative technology, motivational speaking, entrepreneurship, and world music. He firmly believes in the principle of "Don't think outside of the box; think first how to get out of the box!"

At the University of New York in Prague, Michael has been serving as the Director of IT Programs since May 2017. In this position, he has been responsible for establishing and growing the program, creating and reviewing course syllabi, conducting annual reviews of library holdings relevant to the ITM program, recommending faculty assignments, and evaluating instructors' performances. He also organizes and coordinates special lectures and symposia, participates in faculty selection and recruitment, and keeps up with current and future technologies used in classrooms. Additionally, Michael collaborates with the Chair of the Department to prepare and develop program accreditation documents.

He served as an Instructional Technology Coordinator at The Research Foundation of SUNY, managing and developing the Microsoft MTA certification program, coaching students on career choices, and lecturing on IT and office productivity applications. Additionally, Michael worked as a Cisco Academy Instructor at WSWHE BOCES, where he instructed and trained students on CompTIA A+ and Cisco CCNA certifications, developed evaluation plans, and maintained lab networking equipment.
