David Garza Salazar is the Rector and Executive President of Tecnológico de Monterrey. With a background in Computer Systems Engineering and a Doctorate in Computer Science, he boasts over 30 years at the institution. Holding various academic and leadership roles, he's been pivotal in advancing the university's quality, educational model, and global presence. Under his guidance, Tecnológico de Monterrey has achieved a top 35 global ranking among non-profit private universities. He's a distinguished researcher, author, and recipient of the Distinguished Professor Award. Serving as President of the Global Engineering Deans Council and participating in international events as a speaker, he remains dedicated to education's progress. Married to Claudia García Valadez, they share four children: Claudia Marcela, Alejandro Daniel, Andrés Fernando, and Sara Elisa.
