Édouard Kaminski, currently serving as the President of Université Paris Cité, has a remarkable academic background and extensive professional experience in the field of Earth Sciences.

Kaminski earned his Habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR) in Sciences de la Terre from Université Paris Cité in 2002, showcasing his expertise in Earth Sciences. He also holds a Thèse de doctorat (Ph.D.) in Sciences de la Terre from Université Paris Cité, which he completed from 1994 to 1997, demonstrating his commitment to research in this field. Édouard Kaminski's educational journey includes a Diplôme d'études approfondies in Géophysique from Institut de physique du globe de Paris in 1993-1994. He pursued his magistère in Sciences de la Terre at École normale supérieure de Lyon from 1991 to 1994.
