Geraldine Rauch, a German mathematician, is the President of Technische Universität Berlin, becoming the first woman to hold this position in the university's history. She previously led the Institute of Biometry and Clinical Epidemiology at Charité Berlin. Rauch's academic journey includes studies in mathematics and biology at the University of Bremen, a research stint at Cardiff University, and a successful doctoral dissertation. She worked as a research associate at Heidelberg University Hospital and held a professorship at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf before joining Charité Berlin. Her appointment as President of Technische Universität Berlin took effect in April 2022.
