Giovanni Molari has a remarkable trajectory. He is a Professor in Agricultural Machinery and Mechanisation at the University of Bologna since 2016, with prior roles as an Associate Professor and dedicated researcher. His qualifications include a PhD in Materials Engineering and a Mechanical Engineering degree. His research centers on agricultural machinery design and reliability testing. He pioneered accelerated tests for machine integrity and explored areas like biomass energy and tillage machinery. He directed national projects, supervised collaborations, and authored 150+ manuscripts, 53 of which were in Scopus-indexed journals. As editor-in-chief of the Journal of Agricultural Engineering, he steered its transition to English, open access, and indexing in Scopus and the Web of Science. He held administrative roles, including Deputy Head and Director of the Department of Agriculture, leaving a notable impact on the University of Bologna's future.
