Juan Ignacio Yuz Eissmann, born on Aug 29, 1975, is a Professor at UTFSM. He excelled academically, winning a national math medal in 1993. He completed his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering at the University of Newcastle, Australia. Juan leads research in Control and Automation and is an editor for Automática. He has published extensively and mentored students. He played a significant role in establishing AC3E and served on the University Council, contributing to a participatory statute reform. Juan is also involved nationally, evaluating programs and supporting educational initiatives.
