Father Luis Fernando Múnera Congote, S.J., a philosopher with degrees from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Centre Sèvres, Paris, is the new Rector of Universidad Javeriana. He brings extensive experience as dean, co-director, and associate professor, focusing on ethics and values. He's been instrumental in Jesuit training and peace initiatives in Colombia. He succeeds Father Jorge Humberto Peláez Piedrahíta, S.J., who served as Rector for 9 years.
