Milena Králíčková, a Czech physician and university professor specializing in histology and embryology, became the first woman to assume the role of Rector at Charles University in Prague in February 2022. Her academic achievements include a medical and doctoral degree in anatomy, histology, and embryology from the Faculty of Medicine in Plzeň, Charles University. She further enriched her expertise through a Fulbright fellowship at Harvard University. Leading the Department of Histology and Embryology since 2011 and serving as former Vice-Rector for Education at Charles University from 2014 to 2022, she exemplifies dedication to academic excellence. Milena Králíčková's remarkable career, closely connected to CU's Faculty of Medicine in Plzeň, propelled her to the esteemed position of Rector at Charles University.
