Mun Y. Choi, PhD, holds the distinguished position of President at the University of Missouri, simultaneously serving as Chancellor of the University of Missouri and President of the four-campus University of Missouri System. With a rich career spanning 25 years in higher education, Dr. Choi has held key roles including Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (1994-2000), Department Head of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics at Drexel University (2000-2008), and Dean of Engineering at the University of Connecticut (UConn) (2008-2012). His journey continued as he assumed the mantle of Provost and Executive Vice President at UConn (2012-2017). As the 24th President of the University of Missouri, Mun Y. Choi takes on a dual role as both Chancellor of the University of Missouri and President of the University of Missouri System. In this capacity, he exercises oversight over the academic, business, and financial dimensions of the four universities
