Mung Chiang Overview

Mung Chiang, a distinguished scholar in electrical and computer engineering, currently serves as the president of Purdue University. He holds the prestigious position of Roscoe H. George Distinguished Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the university. Prior to assuming the role of president, Chiang served as the John A. Edwardson Dean of the College of Engineering from July 2017 to June 2022. Additionally, he held the position of executive vice president for strategic initiatives from April 2021 to December 2022.
