Dr. Güliz Muğan Akıncı, an accomplished scholar, obtained her B.S. degree from Middle East Technical University's Sociology Department and pursued her Master's and Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology within Bilkent University's Interior Architecture and Environment Design Department. With a post-doctoral study backed by the European Union, she has been a dedicated instructor in Okan University's Interior Architecture Department since 2010, while also serving as Vice Dean of the Fine Arts Faculty. Dr. Akıncı's research spectrum encompasses youth behavior in urban public spaces, universal design principles, time use studies, and the impact of mobile phones and surveillance technologies on urban landscapes, reflecting her fervor for unraveling the intricate dynamics between people, design, and urban environments.
