He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Cartography Engineering from Military Academy and went on to pursue his Master's degree in Computer Engineer at Selcuk University , where he specialized in PC-Based 3D Medical Image Processing Application. Later, he earned his Ph.D. in Geographical Information Technologies from İstanbul Technical University focusing on the design and implementation of a Geographical Information System for Geospatial Database Updating. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. MARAŞ has received numerous accolades, including first prizes in prestigious Cartography Competitions, Best Technical and Overall Poster Awards, and the TUBITAK HORIZON 2020 Above Threshold Value Award. He has published extensively, with his latest research featured in Clinical Rheumatology.
