Prof. Dr. Muhammed Fatih Andı, who graduated from Istanbul University's Faculty of Literature in 1985, has had a distinguished academic career. Starting as a Research Assistant, he progressed to become a full Professor in the Department of Modern Turkish Literature. With numerous academic publications and awards, Andı has also taught as a visiting professor at various universities. He holds positions in esteemed institutions such as the Turkish Academy of Sciences and the Yunus Emre Foundation. He has been involved in various civil society organizations and served on boards like the Atatürk Cultural, Language, and History Higher Council. Notably, he was the founding Dean of the Faculty of Literature at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University and is currently the Rector of the same institution. His works have received accolades from the Turkish Writers' Union, including the "best literary criticism" and "best essay book" awards.
