Stefano Geuna, who assumed the role of Rector at the University of Turin on October 1, 2019, holds a prominent position in academia. As Rector, he serves as the head and official representative of the University, overseeing and promoting its educational, scientific, and service structures.

Professor Geuna's journey in education and research began when he graduated in Medicine from the University of Turin in 1990. His commitment to the field led him to specialize in Child Neuropsychiatry in 1995, marking the start of his specialization in this area.

Within the Medical School degree courses, Professor Geuna shares his expertise as a Full Professor of Human Anatomy. His contributions go beyond teaching; he has been responsible for the Regeneration of the Peripheral Nervous System Unit at the Ottolenghi Institute of Neuroscience Cavalieri.
