Teresa K. Woodruff, Ph.D., has been appointed as the interim president of Michigan State University (MSU) starting from November 4, 2022, as decided by the MSU Board of Trustees. Prior to this role, Woodruff held the position of provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at MSU. In her capacity as chief academic adviser, Woodruff played a vital role in guiding academic programs, research, and outreach activities involving faculty, students, and academic staff. She demonstrated effective leadership in ensuring the delivery of high-quality instruction, fostering scholarly pursuits, and promoting leadership development throughout the university by collaborating with deans, faculty members, and student leaders.
