Valerio Ferme, PhD, is the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost at the University of Cincinnati (UC), where he provides strategic guidance and oversight to a diverse community of 48,000 students, 6,000 faculty members, and 14 academic colleges. In addition, he is responsible for the University of Cincinnati Online and a collection of state-of-the-art university libraries. As the university's top academic officer, Ferme effectively manages the human and financial resources that drive UC's academic and research endeavors, collaborating closely with academic deans and the Provost senior staff to ensure faculty and student success.
