Bahçeşehir University (BAU) stands as a distinguished private educational institution situated in Istanbul, Turkey, graced by the scenic Bosporus. Founded in 1998 by the Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Foundation, BAU received authorization from the Turkish National Assembly and initiated its academic journey in the 1999-2000 academic year. English is the primary language of instruction, demanding strong English proficiency from applicants.

The university encompasses 8 faculties, a school of languages, and 2 vocational schools, offering post-graduate education through four institutes. With a student body of 17,048, including 10,137 undergraduates and 4,716 graduates, academic excellence takes center stage. A dedicated team of 1,047 academicians and 506 administrative staff members foster a vibrant educational atmosphere.

Spread across four campuses in Istanbul, BAU provides a cutting-edge learning environment. The Bahçeşehir University Library houses an extensive collection of 250,000 publications and electronic books, while a capacious conference hall accommodates up to 1,000 participants, ensuring the success of various events.
