Kahramanmaraş Sütçüimam University (KSU), situated in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, is a prestigious public institution renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional education. Since its establishment in 1992, KSU has upheld a strong tradition of academic excellence.

The university encompasses multiple campuses, including the Avsar Campus, Bahceli evler, Karacasu, and The Faculty of Medicine and Aksu campuses. Notably, the Karacasu campus spans an extensive area of 100 hectares, while the Avsar campus is currently undergoing construction and is projected to cover an impressive 1,300 hectares upon completion. It is worth mentioning that 266 hectares of this land have already been nationalized.

KSU offers an extensive array of faculties and programs, providing students with a diverse range of academic disciplines to choose from. With a total of 170 departments and programs, the university houses 45 departments within 11 faculties, along with 12 departments in higher vocational schools. Moreover, there are 93 programs available in higher vocational schools, 17 departments in the Institute of Natural Sciences, 9 departments in the Institute of Social Sciences, and 6 departments under the Rectorate.

Professor Dr. Alptekin Yasım was born in Giresun in 1967. He graduated from 19 Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. He completed his specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. In 2004, he started working as an assistant professor at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Faculty of Medicine. He became an associate professor in 2007. I completed my undergraduate education in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration at this university. It is a university that is still developing and established on a large area (Avşar Campus). After I graduated, a large library and a large conference hall were built. The issue of social activities should be developed further.

I completed my master's degree in Foreign Trade at this university in 2022. I started the Biosystems Engineering program at this university in 2024.
A small university in a small city. In fact, many projects are being carried out, especially in the Faculty of Agriculture. For example; red walnut.
It will become a better university every day.
