Prof. Dr. Alptekin Yasım Overview

Professor Dr. Alptekin Yasım was born in Giresun in 1967. He graduated from 19 Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in 1990. He completed his specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine. In 2004, he started working as an assistant professor at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Faculty of Medicine. He became an associate professor in 2007. In 2009, he started working at Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine. In 2014, he returned to Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University. He held positions as the head of a department at Gaziantep University and as deputy dean at KSÜ. He has published numerous articles in national and international journals and has been a speaker at many conferences and congresses. He is proficient in English.
