Kristián Šrám Overview

Kristián Šrám is an accomplished academic with a diverse educational background. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Charles University, where he focused on the Actors' Perspective on Project Capitalism. He also earned an M.A. in Sociology from the same institution and a B.A. in Business Administration and Management from Prague University of Economics and Business.

As an experienced researcher and lecturer, Dr. Šrám has been actively engaged in various academic activities. He has been a Lecturer at Charles University, teaching courses on Economic Sociology and European Capitalism. Additionally, he serves as a Researcher, working on the topic of Transnational Populism and European Democracy, funded by the Czech Science Foundation (GAČR).

Kristián Šrám's research interests encompass a wide range of sociological topics, including economic visions of the Pan-European Movement, left populism, and consumer responsibilization. He has published works in prestigious journals and contributed to books on European political sociology.

Apart from his academic pursuits, Dr. Šrám is a skilled qualitative researcher, providing consulting services to various clients, including the Prague 1 Municipal Office, where he has been involved in projects related to the subjective well-being and needs of Prague 1 residents.
