Michael M. Crow is an accomplished American educator, science and technology scholar, and university design architect. Currently serving as the 16th president of Arizona State University (ASU) since July 1, 2002, he has been instrumental in the development of the innovative New American University model.
Before his role at ASU, Crow held the position of Executive Vice Provost at Columbia University, where he also served as a Professor of Science and Technology Policy in the School of International and Public Affairs. In addition, he serves as the chairman of the board for In-Q-Tel, the venture capital firm of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
