Prof. Dr. Adnan YUKSEL Overview

Born in Elbistan in 1963, he graduated from Kabataş Erkek Lisesi in 1980. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine with honors in 1987 and specialized in Pediatrics at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1991. He holds the title of Associate Professor in General Pediatrics since 1995. Later, he served as the head of the Department of Medical Genetics at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He also became the Director of Istanbul University's Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Application and Research Center. He has an extensive publication record with over 100 articles and numerous presentations. Notably, he served as the founding Rector of Bezmialem Foundation University and has been the founding Rector of Biruni University since 2014. He is married and a father of two children.
