Prof. Dr. Muhammed Şahin, born in 1965 in Pazar, Rize, Turkey, is a distinguished Turkish engineer and academic known for his contributions. He completed his undergraduate studies in Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering at ITU Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1987, followed by a master's degree from University College London in 1991 and a doctoral degree from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1994. With a career marked by academic achievements, he became an associate professor in 1996 and a full professor in 2002. Notably, he served as the rector of Istanbul Technical University from 2008 to 2012, and later in March 2013, he assumed the role of Rector at MEF University, showcasing his dedication to advancing education.
