Prof. Dr. Saffet KOSE Overview

Dr. Saffet Köse, a graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Theology (1986), completed both his master's (1988) and doctoral (January 17, 1994) degrees at Marmara University. In 1992, he began his career as a research assistant at Selçuk University Faculty of Theology. He spent some time conducting research in Egypt (January-June, 1994). On March 18, 1996, he became an assistant professor, then an associate professor in 1997, and finally a full professor on March 27, 2003. Between 1999 and 2002, Dr. Saffet Köse served as an associate dean and faculty member at Baku State University Faculty of Theology in Azerbaijan for a three-year period. His outstanding contributions were recognized, and he was honored with the "Faxr-ı Ferman" award by the Ministry of National Education of Azerbaijan.
