Yusuf Leblebici is a renowned academic specializing in microelectronics. He holds degrees from Istanbul Technical University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has held teaching positions at institutions such as Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Sabancı University, where he also served as the Microelectronics Program Coordinator. In 2002, he joined EPFL in Switzerland, where he chaired the Microelectronics Systems Laboratory for 16 years. Since November 2018, he has been the Rector of Sabancı University. His research focuses on various aspects of microelectronics, including circuit design, computer-aided design, sensor interfaces, and reliability. He has authored books and published numerous scientific articles. Leblebici has received awards and recognition for his contributions to the field, including being named an IEEE Fellow and a Distinguished Lecturer by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society.
