Simona Hoskovcová Overview

Simona Hoskovcová is a highly qualified psychologist, specializing in the development of psychological resilience, social and developmental psychology. She completed her Ph.D. in Social Psychology and obtained her Master's degree in Psychology from Charles University in the Czech Republic.

For over a decade, Dr. Hoskovcová served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, Charles University, where she taught, conducted research, and coordinated international exchanges. During this time, she actively participated in international projects focused on the psychology of emergencies and psychosocial crisis assistance.

With a strong background in translating psychodiagnostic methods from German to Czech, Simona Hoskovcová has been instrumental in adapting various psychological tests and assessment tools. Her collaboration with Testcentrum has resulted in the successful translation of the Golden Profiler of Personality and other diagnostic instruments.

Currently, Dr. Hoskovcová leads the Crisis Intervention Group at the Police Presidium of the Police of the Czech Republic, where she engages in psychosocial interventions and crisis management as a coordinator. Additionally, she has offered psychological counseling services for parents with preschool children, using both Czech and German languages.

With extensive experience as a lecturer and trainer, Dr. Hoskovcová has conducted lectures for teachers, covering topics such as communication and stress resilience development. Her expertise in the field of psychology extends to various domains, including child self-efficacy development and social skills training.

Throughout her career, Simona Hoskovcová has demonstrated a profound understanding of stress resilience development, making her a valuable asset in crisis intervention and psychosocial support. Her dedication to translating and adapting psychodiagnostic methods has contributed significantly to the advancement of psychological assessment in the Czech Republic.
