Václav Chvalovský, CSc. (Ph.D.), is a highly accomplished and esteemed professor who brings a wealth of expertise to the field of management. With a distinguished academic background and extensive professional experience, he has made significant contributions to the education and development of students at the University of New York in Prague (UNYP).

Chvalovský holds a Postgraduate Degree in Economics/Management (CSc.) from the renowned Czech Academy of Science. His academic journey began at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where he earned his Ing. degree in Corporate Economics and Management.

With a career spanning over four decades, Václav Chvalovský has been actively involved in higher education since 1976. His teaching career took him to the University of Nairobi in Kenya, where he served as a senior lecturer and the Director of the Institute of Computer Science. He later joined the University of Economics in Prague, contributing his expertise on a part-time basis.

Throughout his professional journey,  Chvalovský has gained extensive practical experience in various managerial roles. He has worked as a programmer, IT manager, project manager, sales manager, and business development executive in the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This diverse background allows him to bring real-world insights into the classroom, enriching the learning experience for his students.

Beyond his teaching responsibilities, Václav Chvalovský is an accomplished author and researcher. He has written five professional books on topics ranging from IT to management and project management. Additionally, he has published over 100 professional articles, both locally and internationally, demonstrating his commitment to contributing to the advancement of knowledge in his field.

As a testament to his multifaceted interests, Chvalovský is an avid hiker and mountaineer. His passion for the outdoors mirrors his enthusiasm for lifelong learning and exploration.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Václav is an active consultant and professional trainer, providing his expertise to various projects for local companies and multinational corporations.
