Presently, as an Independent Scientist in the Department of Entrepreneurship and a Scholar at the Center for Workplace Research at Prague University of Economics and Business, Will Bennis's research primarily revolves around how cultural and physical surroundings interact with fundamental cognitive processes, influencing judgments, especially those regarding rationality and morality. His previous work delved into topics such as creativity, gamblers’ strategies, beliefs about winning, sacred values, and workplace performance and well-being in the context of new working approaches.

His expertise spans several domains, including gambling psychology, workplace psychology, moral psychology, judgment and decision making, cultural psychology, cognitive anthropology, and psychological anthropology.

Will has contributed significantly to the academic community. He has held positions like Faculty Lecturer and Researcher at the University of New York in Prague (since February 2023), and Academic Staff at Prague University of Economics and Business (since January 2020). Will Bennis's impactful journey also includes being the Founder & CEO of Locus Workspace, a decade-long endeavor (2010-2020). He has also served as a Lecturer at Anglo-American University (2010-2011) and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Max Planck Institute for Human Development (2004-2005).
